The M.D. turned up to look at job on time and I receive a detailed quote later which allowed us o proceed with task. The 2 roofers, Stuart and Danny turned up when expected and commenced the job immediately and did a good job. On completion; I was very satisfied with everything and the area left clean and tidy.

From start to finish Paul was punctual polite and highly professional. At the initial survey he explained what would happen, what was required and an approximate time line to install Paul provided and estimate within the same day that was around the cost I anticipated. Paul was able to commence the job earlier than expected and this was achieved within the day. On the day the job was completed Paul turned up on tine with everything needed and kept us informed throughout. He and his work mate worked unobtrusively and cleanly. I would very highly recommend Paul and his work.

I've have had previous work carried out by Paul Smoker. He's really reliable, explains everything with pictures as well and he's very reasonable with costs. I would % recommend his company to anyone. I feel I can trust him and his company to do a good job.

Paul has an attentive and courteous manner and is very professional. He inspected the 25 year old Roto skylight which had started leaking and suggested a Velux replacemant to which we agreed. Delayed by one day due to bad weather he removed the old skylight and fitted the Velux replacement. The installation fits neatly into the roof without damage to the surrounding slates and to date appears completely waterproof. Whilst there he removed a part of the roof which has had a leak since installation by Plym roofing. He made no charge for this additional work and recommendation.

Prompt service, staff very polite and carried out re-covering of roof with flexitek.

Our single storey extension roof was repaired 3 years ago but had a leak. The installer returned under his guarantee and undertook a repair. This was not effective and did not respond to a further request to try again. Paul Smoker contacted me via checkatrade and repaired the problem at the 2nd attempt. I'm very pleased he undertook this small job and hopefully resolved the problem - the winter will tell. He advised me to contact him again should there be a problem. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his company

The work was as a result of storm damage and the company fitted me into their schedule as soos as was possible. Good quality work.

I have recently used Paul Smoker Roofing to have two windows changed. Paul was amazing right from the start, I met with 4 different companies from around Plymouth, and Paul was clearly the most knowledgeable. He was the only one with a drone (which the more I think about it, I just can't belive the other roofers didn't have a drone), he was therefore able to see the work needed nice and easily, plus check the rest of the roof. He was also the only one who didn't suggest we needed unnecessary scaffolding, and thereby saved us a tonne. Top quality work, tidy and very pleasant, 10/10

The team from Paul Smoker Roofing arrived punctually at the pre-arranged time and carried out the work to a very high standard. Every bit of packaging and dust and debris was removed on completion. They were very pleasant and courteous in their manner and consulted me about points in the work that they thought might concern me. All in all, an excellent service that I am happy to recommend.

From the moment I first emailed them to the end everything was good. Knowledgeable people, good advice on what was best for our job. The guys who fitted the windows were very polite, very professional in the fitting and spotlessly clean. A great job and would not hesitate to use this firm again.

Paul Smoker roofing came out promptly to give us a quote for a roof repair. Arrived on time, gave a great impression and I felt very confident he knew what the problem was. However he never gave us a quote after repeated requests. Gave up after a couple weeks. Very frustrating

I made contact with Paul Smoker as a matter of urgency because another roofing contractor had completed the work, not to my satisfaction, so he returned and stripped out the installation without my knowledge and left the rooms below exposed to to the elements. Paul came to the house in the late afternoon, carried out an inspection, provided a quote at 11.00pm which I accepted and his excellent team of two operatives arrived at 9.00am the following day, completed the whole installation to a very high standard and in a professional manner by 4.30pm. EXCELLENT.

I had been told by another company that my roofing felt needs to be replaced. This company didn't even look inside my loft. Paul Smoker Roofing carried out a full inspection including using a drone. It turned out that a wasp nest in the loft was the answer to the problem and the insects had damaged a small area of the roofing felt. I can not thank this company enough for their honest inspection and potentially saving me thousands of pounds in unnecessary roofing work.

Excellent quality work. The windows were fitted beautifully and the site left clean and tidy. The staff were polite and friendly. We would use them again without question!

All seemed fine until the work actually began. Which it didn't until two weeks after the scaffolding was up. Excuses all the way. Didn't start work because he didn't know the scaffolders (which he booked) had been. Then admitted to having forgotten about me. Finally the work started but not completed. Claimed he didn't know the roofers he sent weren't finished. I had to chase him every inch of the way and got very, very bored of hearing his excuses. Didn't complete the whole job because neither of us wanted to ever see the other one again. I'm not even sure the gutters were actually cleaned.

Having used Paul previously on another property I didn’t hesitate to get him in when I had a leak in the roof. He was prompt to come over and look at the problem, get the scaffolding erected and to get the work completed. The two guys who came out to carry work were brilliant. Would definitely use Paul again in the future.
