Called with electric shower issues. Paul was kind enough to liaise with me and advise. Turned out I may not need a new shower fitted but just a part for my old one. Hopefully saving me a fortune at a time when we really are struggling financially. Beyond helpful Ty so much Paul

An excellent service from start to finish, can’t thank Paul and James for the service they provided. Very honest and trustworthy, I would recommend this service if you need any electrical work completing as it’s reliable and the quality of work is to a high standard.

We had an issue with the lights in our bathroom. I contacted Paul via Trust a Trader on Sunday night and by early Monday morning I had a quote and a day and time arranged for the work to be done. Paul was prompt and did a fantastic job. I should also add that the day Paul did the job was bad snow and Paul still arrived on time. If anyone needs a reliable electrician that does a great job, I cannot recommend Paul highly enough

On Easter Monday we lost all power to our electric shower. I emailed Paul the same night hoping to get a response the next day. I actually received a response via email within 30 minutes and a visit was arranged for 9am the next morning. Paul arrived just before 9am and within 30 minutes had the issue fixed. If anyone needs any electrical work carried out, I cannot recommend Paul highly enough.

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
