Initial impressions were very positive and this continued right throughout the build. Nothing was too much trouble and the work has been completed to a high standard as they paid great attention to detail.They always tidied at the end of every day so we could continue without disruption to everyday life. Pinnacle were also recommended to us by people we know, and we passed on our recommendations to people we know.

I asked several builders to provide quotes to remove the chimney breast in our lounge, John was by far the most professional and gave me confidence to not only commission the CB removal but also new ceilings (with LED spots) and oak flooring in the lounge, dining room and hallway. The work was carried out promptly and to a very high standard by John and his team and we couldn't have been happier with the results or the price we paid. The worse thing about his team is their signing, but at least they've got decent taste in music!

John built a 15m2 porch/wetroom extension to the front of my house. He and his team are all very friendly and competent in their trades. The work progressed without problems,even though the weather wasn't on their side. I would recommend Pinnacle Construction to anybody and will be having further work carried out by them in the future.

John and his team have done a great job for us knocking through a playroom, kitchen and utility room into one large space. They have fitted extra windows and french doors, installed our kitchen and appliances, laid the floor and completed the electrics and plastering. Having work done is always messy but with John you are taken through the process with a smile on your face! He is good natured, and really keen to do a good job. Quote was clearly broken down into parts- very helpful for us on a tight budget. Highly recommended ! Pictures to follow !

We were told of Pinnacle Construction, Haverhill, in conversation with some local folk while out to lunch. We needed some advice and contacted John Pinkney the proprietor. He arranged to visit and arrived at time arranged. We discussed the removal of an internal wall and he sent us a quotation for cost and making good. Although busy he said he would fit us in ASAP. Work started a week later and his men began work straight away. They took great trouble to keep noise and dust to a minimum, were polite and left the place very clean and tidy at the end of each work session. On completion of their work he sent a plasterer to finish off and his work was second to none. We are very pleased with the result and have no hesitation in recommending this local company.

Pinnacle built a timber framed double extension on the back of our house and then re-modelled various parts of the existing house. Throughout the work John has been very easy to deal with. He has been frank and open about costs providing a detailed breakdown at the start of the project and then adjusting the payment schedule as the project progressed. When we hit a problem with our build (which was no fault of Pinnacle's), John was very keen to help us put it right - he spent time discussing the options and was very reasonable in the charges he made. He definitely earned our trust at that point and for that reason we would have no hesitation in recommending both John and Pinnacle. In addition we have laughed a lot more than I anticipated we would during a lengthy project, we've listened to a lot more Pop Master and we've all started using the word 'sweeeet'. Highly recommended.

I use john as a builder for my Architectural Design Company, All the clients love him and out of all the builders i use John gets 80% of the work. Straight down the line, no nonesense builder! Would highly reccommend John to anyone.

We have employed an Expert Witness Surveyor and have his comprehensive report on the extremely poor quality work he carried out building a single storey extension at our property. We were left with walls not built to the right specification to accommodate kitchen units, ill fitted bi fold doors that don’t work properly, roof work that requires rectification and massive cracks in upper floor walls due to insufficient support being used during the ground floor knock through. There are a host of other substandard issues. We gave him an opportunity to rectify and he failed to do so and now we are facing significant costs to complete the project. He has since refused to engage with us and we are about to commence full litigation against him.
