Pit-stop Bedford could not be any better. They sorted out my car and were honest and really helped.
The car was booked in for 8am - when I turned up on time the garage was closed so I had to hang around waiting for someone to open up. The staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. Service book was not stamped despite me leaving it on the passenger seat. I was charged more for the service than was advertised when I booked it and on my e-mail confirmation. I was charged £30 for wheel alignment - this was never mentioned to me or requested by me. My car was left in the car park with the window down and unlocked which is a huge security risk. After I paid I was told where all the customers car keys were hanging up and told to simply help myself to my keys - again a huge security risk having customer car keys so easily accessible and poor/lazy service. To top it all off there is now a horrendous noise coming from one of the front wheels mainly when breaking which would be a huge coincidence to not be connected with what was carried out here as it wasn't there when the car went in.
"Mr Chiver’s booked his car in for 8am but our opening times as per our website show 8.30 - we then carried out the vehicles service and advised further work required including tracking/broken coil spring--in which Mr Chiver’s declined all work--15 minutes after declining work he then returned call and asked could we go ahead with corrective work but he needed car back for 12.00 p.m--so got technician back on job to get done in time for collection We also advised him of the extra cost of the £30 as we had to take the suspension off to fit the new spring so you have to reset it all - the car was finished at 12.10p.m and Mr Chiver’s returned at around 12.15p.m to collect car. Mr Chiver’s left garage but called to say when braking was getting a noise from brakes we explained that we were too busy but if he popped back in another 2 hours we would happily road test the vehicle and see what the problem was. We never touch the breaks on the first visit, however, the customer decline our offe
