He works in an expert manner and listens to what needs doing. Paul is one of the best gardeners/landscapers I have ever employed. He has just finished a large landscaping job for my daughter after my recommendation; she is delighted with the result. My back fence was collapsing into a public pathway. I received an estimate and now I have a strong fence sitting on concrete slabs with a door into the pathway. I recommend Paul without hesitation."

The fence has withstood recent strong winds which assures me of his excellent workmanship. The second job was painting my exterior. Once again his quote was competitive and after agreeing a start date he managed to complete it within a day and look. Rolland is a genuine and honest workman."

Before you hire a builder
Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
