Highlights

"We recently contacted Prestige Electrical to install garden lights and also to put in some additional plug sockets in our bedroom. Paul is a terrific and knowledgeable electrician, very friendly and very conscientious. His work is excellent, and was carried out with minimal disruption. The finished install is very neat and tidy and we are very happy with the work he did. We have a lot more electrical work ahead of us, having a whole house to renovate, and we will most definitely be calling on him again! We would highly recommend Paul at Prestige Electrical to everyone!"

"Paul from Prestige answered my message within an hour. He arrived within 2 hours. He was professional, polite and obviously knew exactly what to do . He gave a price before starting the work and I was more than pleasantly surprised. He cleaned up, explained what he had done and I cannot fault him in anyway. He would certainly be the one I would ring again. In my opinion he needs to have a 10 as it was an expert job. Well done Prestige electrical littlehampton"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
