This photo is part of the cupboards made to measure by Matthew for my loft room. He is very thorough, polite and respectful. I have since used him for other jobs including painting the exterior and interior of my house; adding additional electrical sockets; wiring in my new oven; fitting new doors and furniture, replastering a distempered patch; finishing off a fence and brick wall, where I had been let down by other tradesmen as well as fitting a new toilet, sink, taps & douche. Matthew is an honest, reliable and trustworthy handyman who takes pride in his work. He offers good suggestions and advice. He is flexible and genuine. He seems to have solutions for all kinds of diy disasters. Matthew is also the fastest tradesman I have ever come across. I am impressed by how much he can achieve in a day and how much he knows about various aspects of the building trade.

I needed shelves and had some leftover 25mm wood which Matthew kindly made into 50mm shelves by seamlessly joining them together, sanding and oiling them. I think they look amazing and guests comment on them too.

Matthew was brilliant, came over to have a look at the long list of odd-jobs that needed doing in order to quote, was communicative on whatsapp and very well prepared the day he came to do the work. He did silicone around the bath, thresholds, fixed wobbly wardrobes, doors, window handle, wobbly light switch, fitted a smoke alarm, hook and eye for the front door, shower rail, helped me move a heavy piece of furniture.... Matthew and Michael did an incredible job! Fixing prior substandard electrics, adding internal insulation, and removal of old fitted units. Then, a lot of very thorough preparation of all surfaces in both bedrooms, prior to complete redecoration which was to a very high standard. Lastly, they took pains to get the details right - trim around the windows, curtain rail positioning, and extra coats of paint on some very thirsty walls. They were extremely easy to work, communicate and laugh with! The pricing was very competitive. The only problem is we didn’t find them sooner. Thanks guys.

Completed waterproofing work, all done to a good standard.
