Highlights

"The workmen arrived on time and carried out a removal of an interior wall. They protected all floors and surfaces before starting and carried out the work to an excellent standard, consulting me and making sure I was happy with each stage as they worked.. their attention to detail was second to none. They were very friendly and professional. I would definately recommend them."

"Garage converted to extended utility room and shower room is nearly finished. All plastered and decorated. Doors and other joinery completed. White goods placed, plumbed and powered, and new worktop and kitchen units fitted. A couple of extra jobs to do and the project will be finished. I will post a couple of before and after photos when this happens for others to see the quality of the work. From start to finish Ronnie, Mark and the team have been punctual, polite and ready to offer advice, which has led to a beautifully finished conversion above and beyond our expectations."

"Our garage has been converted by removing a wall between a small utility room and a garage. This included a new roof, raising of the garage floor to the level of the utility room, before conversion work could start. The work was carried out to an exceptional standard by knowledgeable and informative craftsmen. It was completed on time and is above expectations of what we envisaged at the start. Thanks, Ronnie, Mark, and the rest of the team."

Before you hire a builder

Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
Be wary of a cash-only price or pressure to start tomorrow — both are red flags for an unaccountable job.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
