Richard took a lot of trouble to make sure that what I wanted was achieved and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Rich Burke fixed this drainage problem under my drive to my complete satisfaction. He was highly professional, communicative and prompt at resolving the problem. He has undertaken several jobs for me including erecting a very, very garden fence and I have always found him to be a very safe and trustworthy pair of hands - an ‘old school’ professional tradesman. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Came to sort our fireplace out as all the plaster was falling off when we moved in, he did a brilliant job, very knowledgeable and very skilled! So happy to have a front room we can sit in now. Sorted out the skirting boards to fit around everything and built a new hearth for us as well. Really pleased with the result and made it very easy for the tiler and decorator coming in, will definitely be hiring again and recommend to everyone!

Richard put a doorway in an internal wall. He was always punctual, polite and did a very good job. Thoroughly recommend.

Rich arrived on time as planned and his communication prior to this was brilliant. He put up some shelves for me, a curtain track, some mirrors and downstairs toilet accessories as well as putting a to on the wall for me. He was extremely tidy when working, really polite and most importantly for me, I felt safe with him. He is a really lovely guy and I am now booking him for some more jobs. I would definitely recommend him. He also came to look at the job and gave me a price first to ensure there were no nasty surprises for me or himself.

From the first meeting, when he came to give a quote, to the end of the 3 day job Richard was very friendly, always punctual and extremly professional. His workmanship was excellent and he was very keen to ensure all jobs were completed to the best standard (working a little longer to make sure the jobs were finished to the best possible standard). Richard completed painting, furniture building, various small DIY jobs and replacing an outside water pipe. I would definitely recommend Richard and his work to others. I also echo the comments from another reviewer- who mentioned that, as a female living alone, she felt very comfortable with Richard and him working in her house.
