Highlights

"I’ve been using RMC for several years on both residential and commercial projects. They are reliable, keep me informed and deliver high quality work. I’ve even used them on my own house based on the experience I have with them commercially. No complaints across many projects and happy to come back every time I require plastering or rendering work."

"Needed help with the plastering my kitchen as had install booked in. Had been let down last minute by another plasterer and contacted Rmc seeing their good reviews. The whole team pulled it out the bag. Very polite, professional and achieved on time. Amazing work! Highly recommend"

"We recently had the pleasure of working with Roy and his team for the transformation of the exterior of or house using silicone render, and we couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, Roy and his crew were incredibly conscientious, ensuring that every detail was addressed with care and precision. I highly recommend Roy and his team for anyone looking to enhance the exterior of their home. Their commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction is truly commendable. Thank you"

"Architect" is a title protected by law - only people on the official Architects Register (held by ARB) may use it. Confirm they're on it before you commission a design.

Check the Architects Register
Smart checks

Before you hire an architect

Only someone on the Architects Registration Board (ARB) register may legally call themselves an 'architect' in the UK — ask for their ARB number and check it free at arb.org.uk. An 'architectural designer' or 'technologist' is a different, unregistered role (often capable, but not the same protection).
Agree how they charge before any work starts — a percentage of the build cost, a fixed fee, or an hourly rate — and exactly which stages it covers (concept design, planning application, building-regulations drawings, work on site), so there are no surprises later.
Confirm what they will actually handle versus what is excluded — the planning application, the building-control drawings, and whether they will administer the builder's contract on site — and get it, and a portfolio of similar projects, in writing.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
