Absolutely fantastic work carried out on my bedroom and hallway. The walls were stripped back and fully replastered to a very high standard, and the quality of the finish is excellent. The work was completed efficiently and professionally, with great attention to detail throughout. As a lone female, I also felt completely comfortable having them in my home — polite, respectful and trustworthy at all times, which really matters. They kept everything as clean and tidy as possible during the job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I am really pleased with the end result and would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, skilled and professional plastering work.

Completed on time and fitted in an extra job when I asked. Work finished to a very good standard. I have used Rochester Refurbishment before and will do again. Left the room tidy, so less hastle for me. I found Mike and his team very accomidating.

Very pleased with what was achieved after having had a cowboy plasterer in, Rochester Refurbishments had their work cut out rectifying previously bad work but the finished work carried out was to a very high standard and I am absolutely thrilled with the end results. This is the second job I have hired Mike from Rochester Refurbishments for. Been really happy with both. The first was fixing and patching damaged ceiling. I couldn’t tell after. This time was tiling and fixing holes. All done as I hope for. Good communication friendly and professional and work to a high standard.

Helpful, friendly, trustworthy team. Gave them a key while at work no problems at all respected my property and did exacly what was agreed for price agreed. Used this family run business for quite a few years would not call anyone else. This trade team are pure gold and can't be beat.

After a 1st floor water leak which seeped through our plum coloured artexed ceiling in the lounge, we approached Mike to repair the damage after the "strip out" / removal of the damaged ceiling by the restoration company engaged by insurers. Mike arrived promptly to provide a quote for insurers and everything he advised doing was confirmed correct on the Loss Adjusters visit. Mike kept in touch with us until he could start work on our job, always punctual, always cheerful and a hard grafter. He filled the hole in the ceiling left by restoration company and plastered the whole ceiling on day 1, he checked how it was drying on day 2, on day 3 he arrived to emulsion the lounge walls and 1st coat gloss paintwork, on day 4 it was 2 coats of white emulsion on a lovely smooth ceiling, 2nd coat the lounge walls and woodwork. We have no hesitation on recomending Rochester Refurbishments and would use them again for our next project.

I had Mike and team back recently to carry out some work on the exterior of the house. This was predominantly a tidying of the exterior walls, including a repaint, but also included a repointing and capping of a chimney and raising of two airbricks, as well as numerous other bits of aesthetic detailing. As always, I'm really happy with the results! House looks so much smarter and cleaner. Mike and his team are really friendly and personable and I find it really easy to talk with them to discuss options and decide on the best course of action. I'll definitely call on them for any future work.

Extremely happy with the plastering and electrical work in our hallway and living room. After having previous plasterers in for other rooms and being left with less than average results we were extremely nervous about having more work done in our house. But Mike put us at ease and we could not recommend him and his team highly enough! They went above and beyond to achieve great results and were by far the tidiest tradesmen we have ever experienced. We only wish we had found Mike sooner and will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

I recently had Mike and Mick back round to do some work in a bedroom. This involved a new stud wall and a re-skim. As before they were both friendly and reliable, and worked really hard to do another excellent job. The quality of the finish is outstanding, and they do a really good job of making sure everything is tidy at the end of the day. I have recently had Mike and Mick round to work on my dining room, which needed quite a bit of sorting out, including the construction of a stud wall, over-boarding the ceiling, new beading and of course plastering of all walls. I found both to be extremely personable on first impression and throughout the job. They cleaned up really well after every day and made sure that everything was tidy before they left. We consulted when needed and every action they undertook was well explained and clear. They were punctual throughout. The quality of the work was outstanding, it's in the latter stages of curing now but I dared to touch it a couple of days ago and it is like glass - unbelievably smooth, and corners are really crisp. I'm hoping this comes across in the photo! Finally I would like to say that I would not hesitate to have Mike and his team to do further work on the house - in fact, they are coming back after Christmas to to work on my study! This company is brilliant. Mike and his team have been brilliant in doing extra work as the job progressed. Their work is above excellent and as we were living in the house whilst the work was going on they cleaned up well after each days work. It was also refreshing to have tradespeople that did not stop work from the time they arrived and continued to the end of the day. all in all a more than satisfied customer. Thank you

Plastered 3 rooms including ceilings, coving, new skirting boards and decorating all. A tired old bungalow in need of T.L.C. Turned to these guys, full days work always. Results are outstanding, No moaning or complaining, they just got on with the job. Any problems were pointed out and discussed to satisfaction. Refurbishment of a 4 Bedroom House, Mike and his team were fantastic. Very professional, clean and pro active workmanship. Turned a very run down house into a beautiful family home.

Would definitely recommend Mike and Mick. They replaced part of a ceiling which was damaged after a leak. Completely plastered the whole ceiling covering the artex and painted it. would have no hesitation in asking them to do more work

Me and my partner just moved into our house and wanted our artex ceilings in every room to be plastered over. mike was more than happy to take on the job and plastered every ceiling in every room for us and did a great job. Would definitely recommend and will be getting them back next year for when we refurbish our bathroom.

Rochester Refurbishments undertook a complete internal renovation of my house in October 2022 including a full rewire, new doors and windows and all internal plastering, joinery and a new bathroom. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a similar project. Mike is very professional and I was very happy with the work completed. He was very reliable and responsive throughout and I always knew what works were going to be completed and when. The works overall were a good standard and Mike was helpful with advice on other aspects of my project.
