Toby, Sean and the rest of his team of skilled workers completed converting our garage room and downstairs cloakroom into a wet room with adjoining bedroom and a built in desk, to the highest standard. Toby provided us with such tradesmen professionalism from the drafting of what we wanted, navigating our requests for adjustments to the plan, transparent costs with breakdowns, to clear communication both verbally and in writing throughout. I highly recommend Toby’s company. In addition Toby is a great person to know and have a few jokes along the way!!!

Toby, ably assisted by Sean, built a false chimney breast and alcove cupboard, then fitted a reclaimed cast iron fireplace, and a reclaimed cupboard door, in the main bedroom of my Edwardian house. The work looks amazing, and the room has been restored to it's original beauty!

I highly recommend Salmon Building and would rate above a 10 here if it were possible. From the very start Toby communicated clearly about costs, timelines and potential issues. Detailed requirements were taken on board, covered in the quote and carried out without chasing up. I was impressed by the quality of work and attention to detail throughout - and so were the building control inspectors from our local authority. The team were pleasant, open and left completed areas clean. Any snags found during the work were dealt with quickly and fairly. I would happily use Salmon Building again.

A huge thank you to Toby who provided a professional and efficient service from start to finish. Following assessment of the existing side garage door he promptly provided us with a detailed quote for the replacement and a date was agreed soon after. He did an amazing job and end result is testament to his skills in carpentry. We are very happy, so much so we have asked him to also replace our main side gate in the next few weeks.

Toby and his team did a great job on a major house renovation project involving structural work, taking out and putting in internal walls, replacing the bathroom, installing radiators, windows, flooring, garden fences, updating the heating system etc. Toby and his team were very easy to deal with and took a lot of the stress out of dealing with building control, the structural engineer and neighbours. Toby and his team were good natured and hardworking in our home. Toby was helpful in our dealings with building control and helped us deal with the compliance requirements. He made good recommendations, like replacing old radiators, and the work was finished on budget. I appreciated the detailed quote in advance that allowed us to see what we were spending on different parts of the work. I also appreciated Toby’s attention to detail, as he fitted skirting and architrave which was sympathetic to the existing style.
