Steve did an excellent job of decorating our dining room, including all prep from bare plaster. Good attention to detail and very tidy.

I cannot speak highly enough about Steve and his work ethic. Old school, reliable, hardworking, honest and did an absolutely fantastic job completing well within the time frame. He transformed the property, using good quality paint, but did not charge a fortune. Would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.

Steve was an absolute breeze to work with. He communicated and quoted quickly and had a great turn around. The delivery of the work was of a high quality and he was extremely knowledgable to help advise on the current job as well as support with other decorating questions / problems I was having. Would highly recommend. Great price point too.

Steve, was great from first contact on Checkatrade till job was completed. Quick, clear communication, flexible for us on dates, and did a great job in our hallway and landing.

Steve redecorated my entire house (and all woodwork and kitchen counters) and did the most fantastic job, going far above and beyond what he was initially asked to do around the house. All work has been done to a great quality and he was very thorough to ensure that we were really happy with the final product!

Steve was great. He gave as a quote straight away and managed to fit us in before Christmas which was perfect. He turned up every day on time and did a fantastic job we were so happy with the results that we got him to do another room . Will definitely be getting Steve back in the summer to do our exterior work.

Steve did a great job redecorating our daughter’s bedroom in June - not a simple paint job as it involved ripping down the picture rail, filling some large dents in the wall and fixing the ceiling. He worked quickly and and we were happy with the finish. We rebooked him to redecorate our hall, stairs, landing and small office room. He was very helpful in providing suggestions of paint/finishes and managed to do a great job despite the lack of proper lighting due to our ceiling lights blowing! He was very tidy, clean and efficient and we were happy with his work. Would certainly recommend!

This is the fourth job Steve has done for me and as usual his work was excellent. He a very professional worker, always turns up on time and works hard before clearing up and leaving the place clean neat and tidy. This time he faced a truly dreadful task with the preparation before he could even begin the actual decorating, much of it left by previous workmen but he just gritted his teeth and got on with it! And I am so pleased with the results. Thanks Steve. And thank you for the cake as well!!!

This is the second time I have used Steve and he was every bit as efficient as before. He has painted the rendering on my bungalow this time and picked up and completed odd jobs neglected by the builders (silicone on one.or two joints etc) so that it.looks so much better. He also decorated the large lounge diner, doing all the extra preparation work needed for an elderly neglected bungalow,so it looks great now. I'm really pleased with the results.

Having previously used SD p&d we were happy to use them once again. Steve carried out the work, first protecting the room from dust and spillage, and then prepared walls and woodwork before wallpapering and painting woodwork to a fist class finish in the time promised. We are extremely happy with the service he provides and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Steve was very professional in his work and keep us up to date daily, he was punctual every day and carried the work out to the time scale agreed .We had exterior painting to the whole of the house and Steve also cleared out and repaired guttering, we are very happy with the results and would highly recommend S.D Painting.
