Simply Stumps are specialists in the removal of unwanted tree stumps using advanced modern stump grinding machinery. Based in High Wycombe and covering, Aylesbury, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Marlow, Maidenhead, Windsor, Chesham, Thame, West London, Oxford and all surrounding areas, we provide a highly professional tree stump grinding service at very competitive prices. We tackle any size of stump, from a few inches in diameter upwards. Stumps and visible surface roots are literally ground into chippings which we believe is the most efficient method of destroying the stump. As the stumps are ground deep below the surface this and leaves the area ready for the next stage of garden design, re-turfing re-planting etc. The wood-chip created in the process makes an excellent mulch which is left behind for the customer to use around the garden. Having found Scott's positive reviews via Which Local, I anticipated a high quality and expert service. He delivered on both counts. Following a rapid response for my email request for a quote to remove 4 trees stumps my only disappointment was being told it would take 2 weeks to get to me - Scott is clearly a busy man. When he arrived, we discussed the work and having overlooked a rather old stump, Scott agreed to include this 5th task as part of his original quote - brilliant and very generous. Having explored options to hire a stump grinder, I was very impressed by his tracked and clearly heavy duty machine. It fits through the average side gate and Scott got to work with little delay. As promised, he reduced the size of the stump with his chain saw and then ground the remaining wood to below the level of the lawn. Fully equipped with wooden screens, there was no collateral damage and I was left with a large pile of wood chipping in place of each stump. I finally got round to using the chipping on my flower beds today so I can confirm that I could find no trace of each stump. He also left each area tidy. Added to that, Scott is a trained arboriculturalist and he kindly offered some free advice with regard to planting. All in all, this was a great service well worth the wait and investment.
Responsive fast to telephone enquiry. Polite, helpful, arrived on time, replaced all garden pots removed. Thorough tidy up afterwards. Brilliant

Scott was very pleasant, helpful and efficient and I would certainly recommend him.
Scott is based in High Wycombe but serves the surrounding areas. He has all the necessary equipment, does a first rate job, leaves no mess or damage and cleans up after himself. Will not hesitate to use him again.
Trader was efficient in booking the tree stump removal. Turned up on the dot. Checked that his machine wouldn't damage any slabs and put down boards to prevent this. Quick job and cleared up beautifully afterwards. Was pleased and friendly too

Pleasantly surprised with the professional service of Simply Stumps, from the time we booked a date to the way they left our garden looking so clear and neat after removing the stumps that were a problem, I don't know why I didn't do it before now. Thank you.
Scott and co arrived exactly when he said they would and removed several old fruit tree stumps from my garden. I was impressed by how quickly the work was completed and how little mess was made. Really nice guys and good value service. I'd definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
Mark arrived on time (address in Eton Wick), carried out checks for underground cables and pipes and then ground down 14 conifer hedge stumps professionally and with precision. Delighted with his service and price, and more than happy to recommend his firm for similar work.
Scott has carried out work for us twice now. On both occasions, he has been completely reliable and carried out a professional job; removing both trees and stumps safely and incredibly neatly! I would highly recommend him.
