Splinter Carpentry has done work for me, starting in 1988 (Loft Conversion). Also had kitchen refitted twice, internal doors replaced, and fairly recently, renewed Velux windows (+ removal of a Dorma window etc.). Always had excellent service/craftmanship etc. Fitted in well with other trades (e.g. roofers). Recommended Splinter to others, who have been very happy with their results too. I count George as a good friend.

George created a neat bespoke cupboard for the downstairs WC. Designed and crafted within a small space that works perfectly. As always polite and courteous and a great job.

Splinter Carpentry did a fantastic job of fitting a new kitchen. Including knocking out a small section of retaining wall and inserting the new beam and co-ordinating the work needed from other trades. The kitchen was fitted to an exceptionally high standard. Communication was excellent throughout.

We used George to install a new oak open staircase with glass balaustrade. George completed the work in. A few days to an excellent standard. He was reliable and honest with good advice on the installation. Very neat and tidy work .

All good. Work completed on time and no issue with the quality of what was done. Very reasonable.

George repaired our floorboards at short notice because we are having carpets fitted and didn't notice how bad they were until the old carpet was ripped up. He fitted us in on a weekend. He also put headboards on two divan beds and fixed a garage door bolt which we asked him to help with on the day. We will definitely use him again. Thank you George

Excellent piece of work from a very pleasant and competent carpenter, a real pleasure to have him working in our house. Almost all stairs squeaks eliminated - not an easy task - and the two weakened floor areas repaired and strengthened. All work fully explained as he went along. My wife and I are completely satisfied with the work and also George's friendly but also totally professional manner - will be definitely using George again.
