We are pleased to recommend SB Carpentry, Steven built us a set of bespoke wardrobes either side of a chimney breast with doors floor to ceiling and shelving inside, finished to a perfect standard, providing tons of storage space. Steven also made us a fully fitted bathroom cabinet and bath panel to match. Great value for money.

Stephen fitted a kitchen for us in 2011 and we could not have been happier with his work. He was punctual and reliable, His work was of the highest standard and he took obvious pride in doing a good job, He worked quickly and skilfully, thinking about what was needed and suggesting the best approach. He was neat and tidy, cleaning up at the end of every working day. On top of all that he was a pleasure to have in the house while the job was underway. We would not hesitate to recommend him - indeed we have recommended Steven to neighbours.

Very professional appraisal of the job, good description of what would be involved and how long it would take. Steven was always reliable and punctual. The work carried out was to fit a kitchen and downstairs toilet. Everything was done to a high standard and Steve impressed us with his craftmanship and ideas to improve the use of space and fittings etc. We would have no hestitation in recommending him to others and will certainly have him back if we require any further work done.

Steve has been a huge help in tackling a range of jobs from electrical repair, installing new French windows, adding skirting boards and installing our new bathroom. Steve replaced some floorboards in a rental property we have in Reading. He did the work at short notice over the Christmas period for a very reasonable price. He did a great job, left no mess and was very polite and personable according to our tenants. We hope to use Steve for bigger jobs at the house.

The job took longer than estimated and while there were a few problems Steve overcame them with determination. He works hard and he has many skills, and he is dogged in resolving issues. His team let him down sometimes, but all in all we are pleased with the end result
