"I requested a gutter repair on my roof. I was contacted within 24 hours, given a very reasonable quote and the work was completed to a very high standard within 60 minutes of a phone call. Very pleased with the results and the speed of response. Highly recommended"
"Needed to have my guttering replaced after the heavy snow at the beginning of January. The facia boards were also damaged mainly through wear and tear. I contacted this company and i am glad i did the scaffold was up within days the guys who came were so polite and kind, Then the work was done in a day and they did a great job, the 2 guys who did the job was efficient and cleaned up any mess. The scaffolding was down within days, and all i hoped for was i had one less stress when the bad weather started again. Job done the guttering is done looks better and i would definately recommend."

Plan and price was good and his lads arrived bang on time to carry out the work. The work was good and fixed the leak. I will use Tom again in the future. Nice guy. Good job and a fair price."

Before you hire an architect
Only someone on the Architects Registration Board (ARB) register may legally call themselves an 'architect' in the UK — ask for their ARB number and check it free at arb.org.uk. An 'architectural designer' or 'technologist' is a different, unregistered role (often capable, but not the same protection).
Agree how they charge before any work starts — a percentage of the build cost, a fixed fee, or an hourly rate — and exactly which stages it covers (concept design, planning application, building-regulations drawings, work on site), so there are no surprises later.
Confirm what they will actually handle versus what is excluded — the planning application, the building-control drawings, and whether they will administer the builder's contract on site — and get it, and a portfolio of similar projects, in writing.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
