Highlights

"I needed an emergency electrician with a tall ladder to look at my smoke alarms, which had been alarming on a Saturday. Rang Darren, he rang me back immediately , told me his call out charge and said he'd be over in 30 mins to an hour. He then rang me again to say he was 30 minutes away. He arrived with two ladders - and having looked at my alarms told me they needed replacing and he would send a quote for that work. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient, dealt with the problem quickly and his charge was very reasonable for a Saturday call out. Highly recommended."

"Lost electric early this morning due to bathroom mirror tripping fuse box. Called Darren who talked me through on the phone to try and identify the cause and came out in the afternoon. A fair price and have also requested a further visit for other jobs to be done. I would thoroughly recommend this company and especially Darren who was reliable, friendly and easy to talk to."

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
