Highlights

"Sam was professional and helpful, he found time during the weekend to fix the lighting fault and I really appreciated it. He offered valuable advice and was very approachable - it’s a friendly face thing when it comes to electricians too 😊"

"Sam is wonderful, personable but very professional and always happy to give advice. It’s refreshing to have an electrician that cares about his work as well as his clients without trying to upsell you just to make same money. Installed a cookers switch and another socket for a dryer. Also switched out some standard switches for some dimmers and when i came into a problem he quickly followed up the same day with a solution. Cannot recommend him enough."

"Volteast quickly responded to my job request and offered to come out for a site visit FOC. Upon arrival, they were able to complete the task enabling me to close out the request within a few hours of initially submitting it. Great communication throughout, friendly service and super quick turnaround at a fair price!"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
