Method Aggregates over the public planning decisions we hold per council, matched to a project type from the application description. Overall approval is decided-weighted across project types, leading with the last few years where we hold enough decisions; only types with at least five decided applications are counted, and a council-wide figure is shown only once there are enough recent decisions for it to be reliable. Aggregate figures only. For the homeowner view of who to hire, see the trade directory.
