We contacted AC Wilgar for a quote for a new boiler. Their response was speedy and the quote very competitive. They sounded very friendly on the phone and we had no hesitation in giving them the job. The two engineers on the day were very friendly and professional. There was a mini setback when it was discovered that the first new boiler delivered had a dent in the front. They managed to get a replacement within the hour! We highly recommend them.
They completed my repair and took time to professionally install my new washing machine. They were on time, friendly, polite and competent.
We had a problem with the valve that controls hot water and heating. The work was carried out under our Diamond Service agreement. The engineer encountered some problems beyond the original issue. It turned into a longer job than anticipated over the course of a few days while suitable replacement parts were located. As ever with Wilgar, the work was completed to a high standard and with great professionalism. I cannot speak highly enough of this business. We have been clients for many years and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who is any doubt about chosing a contractor.
From the girls in the office, Sue Eve and Kimmy who always very helpful and knowledgeable, to all the engineers I can speak to a human, i get a text to confirm my appointment , then a text with a timeslot and i can even track the engineer when he on route.

Wanted to share my positive experience with AC Wilgar.. This is the third time I’ve used the company - this time for my boiler.. which suddenly stopped working. Made the call to the office and Paul came to the house and had it fixed within half an hour… Paul explained in layman’s terms what had gone wrong (I hadn’t had it serviced in a few years) and residue had built up. As a recently single mum with teenagers who need heating and hot water I was at my wits end in the morning wondering what to do. AC Willar’s speedy and friendly response was second to none and I would highly recommend.
This company from office staff to engineer are good customer service, helpful, reliable and knowledgeable. I had an issue with invoicing initially but this was resolved promptly at the office by Sue. The engineer (Gary Wright) was very knowledgeable, answered questions, all work carried out with a positive attitude On the second visit for installing the thermostat, the engineers colleague was also helpful and calm showing me how to use new product.

The engineer arrived exactly when he said he would. He was polite, friendly and courteous. Brought his own doormat to wipe his boots. Offered to wear shoe covers while working in the house. Checked all the radiators. Very patiently explained how to maintain pressure/add water to the system while I took notes! Always a great service from Wilgars and our engineer was a credit to the company.
