Chimney stack was removed and the roof area tiled. They worked professionally and conscientiously in poor weather and to an excellent standard. They even rebedded a couple of ridge tiles which was not a part of the requested work.

I had A&D roofing to replace my flashing a couple of years back and they did a great job so I had no hesitation in asking them for a quote when I decided to have my dry verges, facia and gutters replaced. The guys have done a fantastic job and I was really pleased when they said they could fit me in ahead of schedule. They worked through attrotcious conditions to ensure they got the job done before Christmas and were absolutely professional throughout. Their quote was competitive and their work was top quality. I cannot recommend A&D roofing highly enough.

After getting quotes from several companies to repair a leaking roof I was given a number of competing options and conflicting advice. Adrian took the time to discuss the pros and cons of the various options so I could decide and make sense of it all. I really felt comfortable with him and felt that I could trust what he said. The price he quoted was more reasonable and it became clear he knew what he was talking about and would do a thorough, quality job. He clearly wanted to do the best job, being unwilling to cut corners. He was helpful and treated me with respect answering my questions and concerns fully (both in person and by text message) and putting me at ease. The installation was completed quickly but thoroughly and the team worked hard with only short breaks. They kept me informed and then cleaned and tidied thoroughly. leaving me with a roof that looked great and was accompanied by a 25 year guarantee. Adrian replaced all the timbers in my shed rather than trying to make do with already rotting existing timbers. He specified the appropriate grade and type of Topseal roof for the shed and different grade and type to fix the concrete roof on the garage. The job looks great with no sign of any leaks following heavy rain since. They completed the work ahead of schedule and on budget. Unable to comment on after-care so far.

A local roofer investigating a leak in my roof told me that I needed a new roof and gave me an instant quote. Given the scale of the potential commitment, I searched Which? Trusted Traders and contacted A and D Roofing. Adrian and David came and carried out an assessment, gave me an explanation of what needed doing and why, and the relative urgency of each part, with an itemised cost. Importantly, they also told me what didn't need doing (new roof!) I felt confident of their expertise and integrity from the start. I engaged them to check and repair the area which was damaged – replacing laths, felt and broken tiles as necessary, and to re-lead the flashing around the chimney. I also asked them to replace the ridge tiles, several of which were showing signs of mortar breaking away or already missing, and finally to repoint a chimney, which was similarly showing its age. A and D provided written confirmation of agreed work and cost. Adrian and David were polite, reliable and conscientious throughout and provided informative progress reports daily. The work coincided with storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin, disrupting their schedule, yet they were never tempted to rush the job to catch up. I have no reason to doubt that the work was completed to a high standard. The price was reasonable and exactly as quoted. I was handed with the invoice on completion of the work, paid by BACS the same day and received a text confirming receipt shortly afterwards. Highly recommended.

I requested a quote from A&D roofing as they were local to me, they arranged a mutually convenient time. They arrived on time and gave me 3 options for the work all of which were priced separately and explained every option in detail, all prices were very reasonable. I chose the fibreglass roof option and was assured that the price quoted was guaranteed. Dates were agreed when the work would be done and they duly turned up on time. All the work was started on time, finished on time and carried out professionally and to a very high standard. Adrian and David were really friendly and went about their work with minimum fuss any questions I had were explained quite readily they described the different stages of the job and what they would be doing. All waste was taken away as soon as the job was finished. I would recommend this company to anyone who wanted a first class job doing.

After having been badly let down by another roofer whose work on our sun lounge roof was sub-standard and who stopped answering phone calls and texts, we were looking for a reliable and trustworthy business that would rectify the problems. A &D roofing carried out work replacing a leaking roof for me . Like everyone searching for a tradesmen, it can be daunting. But David and Adrian were a pleasure to have carry out the work. I discovered two leaks coming in via the roof and the chimney stack upon decorating a house I'd just bought (the leaks weren't apparent during the summer when the surveyor went round). A roofer who was supposed to be fixing it for me never turned up, and then cancelled outright. Others didn't return my calls, and the couple that did turn up seemed sketchy at best. When I spoke with Adrian he told me they were busy (this was right before Christmas) so couldn't do the work immediately, though could atleast drop by and tell me what the issue was etc. When they came round it was obvious straight away they were great guys and know exactly what they're doing. A few weeks later they were able to do the repairs, replied to all my texts and phone calls promptly, sent me pics of the work as they were doing it, got everything done and cleaned up, and charged a fair market rate, even advising me not to do things they didn't deem necessary. If I ever need any roofing or building done in the future they will be my go-to guys. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, they gave me peace of mind when I was in a temporary state of panic!
