We were delighted with Chico's work. We had a sitting room redecorated, along with an upper landing, the ceiling of which was in a bad state after water seepage from a leaking loft-extension roof. He gave an accurate, fairly priced quote, kept us fully briefed by email on when he could be present and if he was ever delayed, completed the work to a very high standard, left everything immaculately clean after each day, sent a clear invoice to enable a bank transfer to be made, and was charming company. We can't recommend Agba Painters too highly.

Chico (at AGBA Painters Ltd) completed a three-day redecoration job for us following a serious leak from the flat above. Chico prepared an estimate which was excellent value (much better value than the other quote we had to obtain for insurance purposes) and communicated with us (always responding to emails promptly) as to when would be best to complete the work. Chico worked efficiently and quietly - there was absolutely no disturbance to us at all, which was greatly appreciated while we are working from home. Chico also cleaned up after him and hoovered as he went along so there was no disruption to us and our use of the flat while he was there. The work was completed within the estimated timeframe and came in under budget. The standard of Chico's work is excellent - he is a real perfectionist and we are delighted with the finish. Chico is friendly, professional and helpful - all you could want from a decorator. 10/10 - we cannot fault him on anything and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

I contacted Agba Painters to redecorate my bedroom just after moving into the flat. I needed it completed before the bed arrived and so Chico was prompt with his quote and managed to send Paul around within 2 weeks. Paul did a fabulous job of covering up the peeling off lining paper, sanding down where plaster had recently been applied following damp works and tidying up the inside of the cupboards which hadn't been touched for 20 years+! Whilst he was there, Paul also helped with another number of odd jobs around the place (which was very helpful) and made the room look + feel brand new. The quote was competitive, within £20 of the final amount and work completed to a high standard. I will definitely be using Agba Painters again!

After having our flat’s hallway plastered in the early autumn, we turned again to the Trusted Traders website to get some quotes for painting the walls, ceiling, doorframes and skirting. When he came to look at the hallway, Chico was easy to talk to and offered good advice. So when the quote he provided was reasonable, it made sense to ask him when he could start. Chico fitted us in in early November and completed the job in four days. He was polite, professional and tidy, and we appreciated his attention to detail. We chose a vinyl silk emulsion for the walls and ceiling and a satin paint for the woodwork. We’re delighted with the clean, even finish and the light it brings to the space. Chico recommended a Zinsser primer-sealer on and around the back of our front door as we were concerned about the damage done by damp air during the winter months. He did a fine job painting the pipework along the ceiling, repaired some damaged woodwork, sealed gaps with caulk, and left the hallway clean and tidy. We also appreciated him leaving us some paint, which will be put to good use on the skirting and beading in our lounge. It was a pleasure having Chico around and we would highly recommend him.

Chico painted our staircase (spindles, handrail, skirting), cupboards and walls both upstairs and downstairs. He arrived on time each day, left the space in a clean and tidy way and was very friendly and approachable. The quality of the paintwork is perfect, so much so, that we're booking him in to do some more jobs. Looking forward to it!

Chico repaired paint and plaster that were damaged by water in preparation for re-decorating. Following this he repainted the walls after advising on colour schemes. He works quickly, precisely and is a joy to have doing the work. He advises openly and transparently. I would highly recommend him.

Chico decorated the back of our house last summer and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. Chico carried out some minor repairs to our brick render, the window sills and then repainted it all. 6 months on and it is all still looking fantastic. Chico took such care in his work, paid attention to the details and was a great communicator, before, during and after the job was completed. I would highly recommend him.

Chico was recommended to us by friends. We'd had to have our upstairs carpets removed due to a moth infestation, and because we are planning to have further work done at home it was suggested that we don't replace the carpets until that is finished. So, because the exposed floorboards were so ugly, and not in a smooth or safe enough state to walk on without footwear, we decided to get the floors painted white as a temporary measure. When Chico came to assess the job, we were instantly comfortable with him. Friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, he suggested ways of reasonably keeping the cost down, and in the following days responded very quickly to calls, emails etc. His quote was very fair, and we also asked him if he would be prepared to 'make good' on the rather poor job the carpet removers had done - leaving staples and chunks of underlay stuck in the floor etc. With this factored in, he said the job would take 2 days, and duly began work about a week later as promised. There's not much more to say other than Chico did a brilliant and thorough job, all on time and on budget. The floors and stairs are now neither an eyesore nor a safety hazard, which has been a huge relief to us after several weeks of treading very carefully! Thank you, Chico.

Had Chico in to decorator our offices. What a great job in did for me. Meticulously in his approach, prepared the walls and then decorated to a great standard. Definitely recommend him and will be using him again.

I found Chico on this website and he's the best decorator I have ever used. His rates are reasonable and his estimate was accurate in terms of price and time taken, so no nasty surprises. He was efficient and tidy and his attention to detail is exceptional: the finishes he obtained really are top drawer. He has a great little system for ensuring that you're happy with everything. Plus he's a really nice guy and a pleasure to have around!

They painted our whole house inside and out also re varnishing our floors and tops and found them all a Very professional. Chico and his Lads were amazing and a pleasure to have in our house always considerate and very tidy with a great eye for detail. I have and would recommend them at all times. 10 out of 10.
