Allround Property Repair and Maintenance

John did some re plastering in our cellar. He came to look at the job and give us an estimate. He agreed a day to do the work and quoted a fair price. John arrived on time and completed the work in two days. We were very pleased with his work and with everything he did. He sent us reports on all his work and kept to all of his deadlines. The quality of his plastering was excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending John and will use him again when needed.

John was very thorough in ensuring the kitchen was properly damp coursed, attending this to the stairway and completing the bay window area in the living room. John has also painted the whole exterior of the home, including the front door, fixed loose slates on the roof and laid kitchen Lino. He is a man of many talents who we always recommend.

John has done an excellent job of damp proofing, gutter repair and some inside decorating. He is timely and works ling hours to complete work to an excellent standard. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will be contacting him again very soon to replace all my windows.

John was amazing! Came on time and completed the job to a high standard. He also repointed the external brickwork, plastered indoors and even tiled the kitchen and replaced skirting boards. His price was more than fair. I would 100% recommend and even though he’s busy and you may have to wait until he can do the job, he’s definitely worth the wait. I wouldn’t use anyone else to do any future work.

John was fantastic. Cannot recommend him enough. Originally thought there was penetrating damp needed to be fixed. John came round and gave me a super reasonable quote. As the work began though, it turned out there was a leak in the actual pipe within the wall. He was straight to it for again, a very reasonable quote and added the damp membrane to the bricks underneath for additional security. This involves removing plaster carefully and reattaching splash back. All done, photos sent and it looks spot on. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks again!!

John arrived and priced the job. The price was very reasonable. We agreed a start date and time. When the work started John was very quick and did the job in the agreed time. Damp proofing is never clean but John was good at tidying up. There is other work we will be asking John to do, we were very impressed.

John did a big job for me - damp proofing almost the whole downstairs from the inside and out, replastering, tiling, opening up the fireplace, fitting mantel etc. He is skilled in so many aspects of building and is very friendly. John is a reliable and excellent worker, with sound allround skills and crafts. He is diligent, helpful with ideas, and takes care and time to do very good work. Don’t expect a rushed or quick job, but you will get a well finished, tidy and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Our tenants reported damp so we contacted a few companies for quotes. John gave a full breakdown of what needed doing and was very competitively priced. He fitted the work in over the Christmas break when the tenants were away to a very good standard. It’s a messy job but John was very respectable of the property and removed all debris. Would definitely recommend and will use for further work in future.

Johns work is outstanding, he is a very hardworking and dedicated man. Costs were very reasonable. The job was much bigger than first anticipated but it was still completed in the timeframe agreed (2 days.) We are so happy with the result.
