"I would highly recommend DRS Anderson. Matthew has been out on a few occasions to fix our white goods. His customer service is excellent he is polite communicates well, and very knowledgeable. They are not very expensive and you would always be reassured that your product will be up and running to a high standard."

"Fantastic service from start to finish. I called the company and they were able to come out the very next day. The engineer, Matthew, fixed the dishwasher in no time, then moved on to the washing machine, which needed a new part. He had the part in the van, so everything was repaired on the spot with no need for a return visit. The price was very fair and completely reasonable for the work done. I would 100% recommend this company for any appliance issues."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
