Apple & Oak were recommended to us by friends who had had their conservatory re-built by Apple &Oak. We wanted to replace all the glazing (windows, doors and roof) in our current conservatory with more thermo-efficient glass. The roof of our conservatory has a very high pitch so the work was not easy but it was all carried out really well. Everything was done really well - careful covering of all surfaces not being worked on, regular information each day about what had been done that day and what was envisaged for the following day, very polite people working on site who were very respectful, who we were very comfortable having in our home and who were very tidy. They also cleaned up after themselves very well and we did not have to do anything in the way of cleaning up. We would very happily recommend them to any of our friends. Quality work and quality people.

Apple and Oak were not our first choice. I had been recommended a similar contractor by a friend and not wanting to go with that recommendation without other quotes I searched Google finding Apple and Oak. When I first contacted Adam he was very engaging over the phone and from the moment I met him in person when he measured to quote I could tell he was very professional and honest. Adam provided a comprehensive quote based on my requirements and I found it comparable with other quotes. What set him apart from the others was his attention to detail and knowledge of the product he was to install. From the moment we agreed Apple and Oak were to be our chosen contractor Adam took the time to explain everything in detail. On day one of the installation he and his team arrived and the installation ran to timetable, despite some inclement January weather. The whole Apple and Oak team were fantastic throughout. Thoughtful, clean and professional through every process.

Adam helped us make the necessary decisions for our project of renewing an old glazed canopy, attached to the back of the house, overlooking the garden. His simple advice of completely renewing the previous structure with modern materials has proved to be sound and successful. We were concerned at the start date which would necessarily run the job right up to the Christmas. We needn't have worried. Everything went to plan, starting with an early delivery from suppliers, Eurocell, met by Barry and Rod from Apple and Oak. After initial conversations, Barry and Rod, both highly experienced in their trade, professionally got on with the work. We did not experience any anxiety as the construction took place, Barry and Rod keeping us in touch with their progress. With the assistance of Jack, the work was completed on time and to a very high standard. Only one small snag arose, which Adam agreed with and Barry sorted out for us on the 2nd January.

Great team led by Adam. Very professional. Work was completed to a very high standard. Good aesthetic result and most importantly resolved the heat loss issue which was our main concern.

Superb job! Adam and his team worked really hard, the replacement roof was completed on time. They were all very friendly, polite and respectful. I felt very comfortable with the in my home at all times. Everything was explained very well, and I was updated every day. They always met their target.

Excellent from first contact. This was a conservatory roof replacement. We were given all possible options and pros and cons. No pressure. We received quotes for more than one possibility as we were unsure which route we wanted to take. Work completed as per scheduled. Could not fault the way the work was done and the lack of intrusion on the rest of the house. All in all we could not have asked for better service.

After speaking to several companies about replacing our glass conservatory roof, it was clear from the outset that Adam from Apple & Oak had the knowledge and experience to carry out this project to a high standard. Adam offered us advice at the planning stage, helping us to make decisions that fitted our needs, rather than trying to sell us additional and unneccesary features. He also took on smaller jobs within the renovation, such as updating the window furniture and sills - all of which helped to alleviate the hassle of us trying to find tradespeople to do these smaller jobs. Throughout the building work, communication was faultless. We were provided with a schedule of who to expect on which days, and all necessary paperwork was handled by Adam. The team who carried out the work were so impressive. Punctual, hard working, reliable and lovely to have around. The experience has been so positive - and, most importantly, the difference during this heat wave has been unbelievable!
