Highlights

"Barry undertook a complete rewire of our property which was done to a very high standard. He communicated with us throughout the entire process and was very flexible with his time as we had other work going on in the property at the same time. After this when we were doing some DIY we accidentally drilled through one of the wires. Because of the way Barry had zoned the property meant we didn't lose power to the entire house and we could still use all our lights and appliances. He responded to us late on the weekend and was able to come Monday morning to fix the issue."

"B-lectric is local to us and have performed several electrical works around our home - prompt, good communication, fairly priced. We have brought him back to do several bits and bobs. Highly recommended."

"Barry came to our house to examine scope of works, very friendly and professional. When he returned to undertake the works it was again very prompt, speedy and professional. Didn't leave any mess and it was as if he had never been there, everything just worked. Really impressed with his work ethic and would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone looking for a good, qualified electrician. I will definitely be using his services again at some point."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
