Simon removed and unsupported chimney in the loft space of our house. By taking the bricks out though the roof there was no dirt or distribution in the house. It was a very clean and efficient job and I would recommend Simon for the quality of his work and the price.

We’ve used Baker Construction for several projects. Highly reliable and kept in the loop on everything. We settled on new concrete flooring for a low use side area of the house and aco drains installed for drainage. Concrete posts, gravel boards and slot in wooden fence panels. Simon went above and beyond by installing an additional post and fence panel due to rot. All waste removed and left completely tidy.

This is the 3rd time we have used this company and not a bad thing to say Work was completed quickly and professionally Good prices and good standard of work If I need a builder I don’t even advertise I will contact Simon first

Simon was great from start to finish. He completed the job on time. Kept to his price and did a lot more besides. I was so delighted with his work.

We required the removal of a chimney stack and ridge and tiles to replace the gap. We were walked through the process and he took on the procurement of materials at very competitive rates. The result was achieved sympathetically to surrounding roof and the loft space. He was extremely tidy throughout. Highly trustworthy tradesman.

Simon has done a great job with our loft making it a spacious area to put our storage in. Replacing our old insulation with new ones - which was done in a such a clean manner. Simon was very determined to get our loft done and understood our needs, making exactly how we wanted it and overall gave us a great customer service. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants getting home improvement done.

Simon was very helpful and competent. Came in dug up old concrete floor and relayed including insulation to allow plumbers to lay underfloor heating and then screeded over. Done in less than a week.

Simon was a great person to have around, he knew what he was doing, he engaged with planners and architects without being asked to. We were more than happy to leave him to do his work, when we were working out of the house we trust him 100%. He always tidied up at the end of the day and even allowed us use of his van to collect a large item. We have already got a few more jobs in mind and would not hesitate to ask Simon to do them for us.

Simon was very professional with his work. We required a partial removal of an interior wall in order to put some build in wardrobes in. Prior to works commencing, Simon recommended a building surveyor who came over to inspect the wall if it was okay to remove. Simon's communication was really good, he ordered a skip for us to arrive on a day that was convenient to us, the work was as described and went above and beyond by doing some plastering too which he did not have to do. Simon left the room as clean as can be, arrived on time, and priced the job competitively.

Simon has been with us on over 8w on several projects of renovation, removing internal walls. From day one he’s been amazing, professional, courteous and just a top notch bloke. He installed an RSJ over the new open plan kitchen/living room by himself. Putting up all the internal props. Left the area tidy throughout. Removed the two upstairs adjoining bedroom walls for us to create a walk-in wardrobe between two rooms. Removed old cupboards downstairs to create an under stairs office space. Through the 8weeks, he’s always arrived with a smile, we highly recommend him.
