“From start to finish, Jon and the team were brilliant. We must’ve got the work quoted by 10+ firms but it was their approach and professionalism that went above and beyond. Jon & Marco were very prompt with drawings, costs and done our building proposal. But they were also incredibly helpful when there was the odd hiccup too. We’re so happy with the build itself. The team really look after us along the way. We’re so happy it. From roof, windows, insulation, joinery, electrics, painting and finishing. The loft looks amazing”
“After experiencing water collecting into our washing machine as a result of a poorly fitted pipe they identified the problem straight away and arranged a date and time to replace it. The service was Excellent, from point of consultation to completion of the job the service was quick and on time as well as Affordable. Couldn’t recommend more.”
“Highly recommended. They understood our requirements from day one. We had appointed an architect and were seeking planning permission at the time of first contact. Ballykelly were very supportive during the process and arranged to commence the work the day after planning was due. Works started on the planned day and pretty much everything went according to our expectations. Great teams. The site was left tidy at the end of every day. The one little issue we had with the architect's plan was swiftly remedied by the project manager. Very satisfied with the result. Quality finish in all areas.”
Detailed reviews
Poor communication and endless delays
My experience with Bally Kelly was characterised by poor communication, weak project management, avoidable delays, unexpected costs, damage to my property and serious privacy concerns. Save for the ‘foreman’ and unskilled labourers, all work was subcontracted out with no one from BallyKelly regularly on site. Work was carried out on an intermittent basis with communication lacking leading to mistakes. A camera was placed in my home without my knowledge and programmed to take photographs of the building progress for social media content. The camera was only removed when I became aware of its existence. Instructing Bally Kelly is not an experience I would wish to repeat and, based on my experience I would not recommend them to others.
