All the work was fully professionally prepared and completed using high quality materials and everything left clean and tidy. Kevin kept us fully informed throughout and even rectified a problem with our garden room roof for us which we hadn't been aware. Totally a 5 star experience.”

Kevin and his team were great to work with. Very knowledgeable on old buildings and finished a complex job to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.
Kevin and his team done an excellent job on our home. From bespoke carpentry to decorating, they helped us restore our old cottage from a rotten dated cottage to a gorgeous family home.
Excellent visit from Kevin and Phil yesterday to carry out maintenance work on our 14 Velux windows. They did a thorough job of cleaning and lubricating the hinges and mechanisms, and solved issues we had opening a couple of the windows. They were polite, informative and left everything in perfect shape. And very good value for money. Highly recommended.

Kevin and team were very efficient, tidy and helpful. The finished result is great. Very pleased with them. I would use them again and recommend to friends.
I am very pleased with how my house looks now. Everything was so well co-ordinated - the scaffolding was up and down within 2 days - and Phil & Dave were painstaking and professional. They arrived when they said they would, got on with the job and dealt effectively with any difficulties. I have no hesitation in recommending B & G Decorators; skilled and very nice people!
The team were friendly, hardworking and efficient. The job was a filthy one, dealing with an exterior issue caused by rats, which went right down to the footings of the house. They resolved the issue and put in a new damp course. I'm really pleased with the work. I hope I don't need them, but I'd have them back any time.
Kevin and his team have been renovating our period property since the beginning of January 2024. It’s a huge ongoing project. Their work is always of a high standard. Kevin communicates with us at every step and we thoroughly appreciate his diligent project management. We would highly recommend Black and Gold.
Great bunch of guys and amazing quality of work. Grade II listed building so quirky walls but no issues at all for the team. Would highly recommend!
I haven’t had work done decorating in a long time, so I was surprised by the cost. However it is probably reasonable. They were really helpful, informative and easy to deal with, polite, courteous, reply promptly to messages so on balance worth the price. They also happened to be available on short notice which was super for me. I have already recommended to a friend.
The job was done very quick and he cleaned up after himself and was friendly and reasonable price compared to other traders
Great painters who I have trusted for the last 10 years to paint my grade listed building who do a fantastic job every time they are here. I can’t recommend them enough
We had the outside of our former farm building property painted plus some woodwork repairs. Plenty of barn paint used! A thoroughly professional and high quality job by Kevin and his team
