From the moment I contacted Bill on Trustedtrader to the work completion, his communication was excellent. The price for the work was competitive and the boiler is the best size and make for the property. Bob completed the works on time and with very little disruption. I asked Bill to come help remove a radiator and cap off the pipes. He had a few tricks to minimise the inevitable water spillage. It was all done neatly and with little fuss. He is clearly a skilled plumbing and heating engineer. Highly recommended.

Solved a long standing drainage problem from the kitchen sink. Redesigned the plumbing, drilled through a 12 inch solid outer wall, and joined into a nearby exterior soil pipe. So clever. 3 other plumbers over a five year period had no success. Only had to make him an occasion cup of tea, no milk or sugar all day.

On time etc, quoted quickly, decent enough job at short notice (with a few more odd things all round, which now make more sense) quoted for next part of job to do a few weeks later….gave advance notice that job was ready now, chased again week later, eventually called him…doesn’t remember this job & then gave the excuse he has another job or doesn’t do this anymore!!! Our job would take 1 or 2 hours….so all very odd & clearly doesn’t want to comeback even though the price was quoted & agreed. But not good when we have 4 radiators to put back on & he is familiar with the brackets etc. (and this is me being kind; didn’t take away old toilet & parts, but not quoted i guess, chased payment as soon as finished, even though finished in 1 day not 2, provided the cheapest toilet, when never asked for that, and forgot to leave our house key, and still didn’t take rubbish when came back next day to drop off

What a lovely man I gave him a call within 20 mins he was with me but I did not think he was going to do the job but he stayed until he finished. I Can not recommend him enough great job thanks Bill.

Bill arrived at the arranged time, was clear on what he was doing and tried to resolve the problem without resorting to replacing the part required. Sadly the part did need replacing, but he organised the order and was very helpful in returning when we needed him to fit the part, despite having other jobs at the same time. I would definitely recommend him to any one needing a plumber in the area.

Last Christmas our boiler failed. It was cold and we needed the boiler fixed. Fast. We expected, and dreaded, a Festive Fleecing! We called Bill Boorer (TrustATrader) because his call-out fee was low. Next day he turned up promptly and got to work immediately. Within 10 minutes he'd diagnosed the fault: a blocked flue. Within an hour our boiler was working again. We were delighted. We were also pleased with the bill. He only charged us the original (modest) call-out fee. We were hugely relieved and grateful. We've called Bill Boorer out since, and he again showed us his reliability and honesty. Having examined our 15-year-old boiler for over an hour, and contacted the manufacturer, he gave us some extremely useful advice that will save us a heap of money. He was then prepared to leave without payment! (Of course, we insisted he didn't!) Bill Boorer thoroughly deserves our whole-hearted, 100 per cent endorsement, and we're more than happy to give it.

I was lucky to find Bill on your website yesterday. I contacted him in relation to replacing my toilet push flush button unit, and he managed to squeeze me into what I am sure was a busy morning for him today. He arrived with a new replacement part, but having assessed the situation, he was able to actually fix my existing push flush button, without needing to replace the whole thing. A strategically placed screw managed to save the whole unit and save me the added expense of the replacement part. I only paid his call out fee in the end which is a very reasonable fee. It is not often that you come across that sort of honesty and integrity these days, I am truly impressed. I am aware that there are other tradesmen who would’ve elected to just replace the whole part and charge me for it, all the while knowing that was perhaps unnecessary. I would definitely use Bill again and would recommend him without hesitation. Polite, professional and reasonably priced!
