Excellent job done went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe and working properly, corrected a lot of pipe work that had been done poorly in the past which a lot of other plumbers probably wouldn't have bothered doing. Very neat work and very trustworthy would definitely recommend and use again. 5 star service.

Came promptly, identified a complex problem and dealt with it efficiently (he came, he saw, he conquered). He dealt with difficult neighbours courteously, leaving everything clean and tidy afterwards. His jokes are not bad either.

I first used Blays Pluming and Heating to diagnose and fix a long term problem with my central heating – not a big job but tricky. Some months later my daughter’s boiler failed just after she had had a new kitchen fitted. I got Blays back and was very impressed with how they installed a new boiler, replaced two old boilers (one for water and one for heating) working around the brand new kitchen. I’m a fussy customer and like to do most jobs myself so was very pleased with the way Ian and Steve discussed each aspect of the job with me beforehand and with the excellent standard of work. I would highly recommend them.

After being messed about by two previous companies we managed, thank goodness, to sort of stumble on Blays Plumbing and Heating. Like a breath of fresh air they explained the whole job in detail of what could be done with our antiquated system. We opted for a new Combi system changing from a complicated and costly old hot water storage system. Ian's approach and knowledge gave us masses of confidence in the company and with the price we got we gave him the job in an instant. From the outset of the work starting they worked in a professional and courteous manner, were keen workers and ALL of our questions and queries were answered. Recently moved into a townhouse in LS12 and the shower was in a bit of a state and ultimately producing no hot water. I called Blay's and Ian booked me in promptly for the next morning. Ian and Steve came round this morning, figuring out the issue in minutes and offering sound advice around what to do next. I opted for a new T bar shower recommended by Ian and it's great - my missus is going to love it. Top lads, will definitely use again for any plumbing, heating or gas issues; I recommend highly as their approach is consultative and non-pressured, and chuffed with my new HOT WATER producing shower!

We recently requested Blays fit a new boiler for us. Ian listened to what we wanted, advised when we needed advice, and made sure we were confident in making the decisions we needed to make. The work was done speedily, efficiently and with great care and attention. The installation of our new central heating system was not an easy job (there was some seriously warped, ancient pipework under our floorboards! ), but Blays took it all in their stride. Ian swapped and connected my new hob and as well rerouted gas pipes to create space for oven. He is a fantastic tradesman, arrived on time, very knowledgeable and friendly, carried professional job.

Ian fitted my new bathroom, he was a delight to have in my house. He always turned up at the agreed time. Totally professional and very happy with the bathroom. He always took care to ensure my carpets were covered and always spent time when work was completed to ensure everything was clean. Job well done, would recommend.

Ian and his team fit me a Veissman when my old boiler packed up. He called on the Tuesday and by the Friday it was all installed. Did an absolutely excellent job and even put right some botch ups from the previous installation, including bricking up outside. Left no mess and completely sheeted up the work area. Really went that extra mile. An absolutely excellent service all round, an excellent all in price with no money up front. Me and the wife are absolutely thrilled.

I first met Ian and the boys when they came out to look at my old boiler which was having a few problems. They listed my options for repairing the boiler clearly, with expected costs, but also left me quotes for supplying and fitting a choice of 3 different new boilers at very competitive prices. No pressure was exerted and I was left to mull over my options for a month or so before deciding to go with one of the new boilers. They arranged to come and fit the new boiler within a few days and turned up on time and completed the job within the time promised. The boys were very friendly and helpful at all times and stuck to the agreed price with no hidden costs. When there was a problem with the new boiler the following day, (not due to the installation) Ian came out within the hour in spite of it being 5pm on a Saturday and was able to help. I have stuck their card on the boiler and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
