I changed quite a few items on the quote which Mike took in his stride and a date was put into the diary. They started on time knowing it was a big job and going to take a few weeks, everything was professional and friendly from the start. The job had an occasional problem, which were promptly sorted out, but overall everything went very well and it now looks fabulous."

I would like to thank both Mike and Steve at Buck Construction and Maintenance for a very great Job on my renovated bathroom. Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
