"I approached Stormguard for help with a persistent damp problem on the bedroom wall below one of the chimneys. They were very knowledgeable and experienced and suggested a Plan A and Plan B. They were very confident that Plan A would solve the condensation problem. There has been an improvement and I'm hopeful that this will continue as the weather warms and gets dryer. I will be asking back to attend to repairs on another chimney soon. Highly recommend."

Installed French drain around brickwork
I approached Stormguard for help with a persistent damp problem on the bedroom wall below one of the chimneys. They were very knowledgeable and experienced and suggested a Plan A and Plan B. They were very confident that Plan A would solve the condensation problem. There has been an improvement and I'm hopeful that this will continue as the weather warms and gets dryer. I will be asking back to attend to repairs on another chimney soon. Highly recommend.
What an amazing company! Missing tiles from our very high roof replaced within two days of phoning. Thank you Joe, Amanda & nephew for a super speedy & professional job. Family run business, very professional and knowledgeable in chimney repair work. Gave good initial advice when i was purchasing a reclaimed chimney pot for them to put on. The scaffolder used by company was also excellent. Would recommend 👌
Sorry cannot find the photos supplied before and after a serious leak in church roof but we were very satisfied. He has always provided help and advice generally for problems which are inevitable with an old church building
Stormguard renewed some lime mortar pointing in our home, a Listed Building. They were helpful, thorough, cleaned up well and we are impressed with the quality of the finish.

Stormguard did a thorough job in repairing our traditional clay peg tiled roof. It was a difficult project, and there were unforseen problems, but all matters were taken in their stride and nothing was rushed. Antique materials matching the existing roof were used thoughout. we were updated at the end of every working day by their courteous and experienced staff. All in all a very good job at a reasonable price. We now understand that work such as this cannot be done to a strict timetable. The outcome, however, excellent.
We found Stormguard by noticing work they were doing at a nearby house. Communication was mainly by text and email but was prompt and pleasant. Jordan from Stormguard did the work and he was excellent. Polite, very tidy work and no stopping for tea breaks etc. We would certainly have them work on our house again in the future.
excellent work carried out as per qoutation
Joseph has carried out two pieces of repairs for us this year. One was the to the roof above the bay of our dining room. The other was work to the high roof above the second floor of our garage and workshop, securing the ridge and related works. Both were done to a high standard of workmanship and the clear-up was excellent. The team are aware of the specialist needs of older buildings in particular.
Came out promptly when requested. Will use again in future.
Joe and his team did various work on our old cottage. This included, chimney, roof and exterior walls; We were very satisfied with the standard of the work completed.
The team did a great job on a problem with leakage from a chimney which had been unresolved for years. Since their work, there have been no further problems.
Stormguard were recommended to me, when storm damage left me with 2 broken roof tiles. They were quick, efficient & well priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Joe and his team were very polite and easy to talk to. There work was of a highly skilled and satisfactory standard. They arrived promptly with all the materials necessary to cope with the job in hand in repairing the ridge tile. Results were excellent including tidying up and removing all debris. Would recommend to others and would certainly call on their services if needed in the future. All in all job well done.
