Highlights

"We had an excellent experience with this company. Our electrics in our house tripped several times the other night. We flipped the switch on the fuse box but it kept tripping. I posted the job on checkatrade, asking for help. Within 5 mins, I got a message back suggesting a short call. Over the phone, he talked me through the steps I should take to identify what was causing the issue. Following these steps, I was able to self-serve and get the power back on. This company will be my electricians of choice going forward. Thank you!"

"After two other electricians had messed me around and not answered messages or provided quotes, it was a joy to meet Christian. Communication was excellent, very thorough and the job was quoted for and completed within 24 hours. He even apologised for not doing the touch up painting, which was really not his job."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
