Needed a new roof on our garden room and am so pleased I went with this company. Scott and Mike completed this to the highest standards along with other smaller jobs thrown into the mix. I am so pleased with the work they completed. Amazing team and would recommend for any job. Thank you Scott 😊

I contacted Scott to give me a quote for an extension and he came to see me to discuss my requirements. I didn't really have any ideas what I wanted, just that I wished to extend my property. Scott was amazing, he gave me so many ideas and options that I hadn't even considered. The build was completed on time, all the team were polite, punctual and respectful of my property and I am so happy with the end result. I can 100% recommend this company.

Recently moved house having used classic construction before. I was more than happy for them to compleat a loft conversion for me. Amazing attention to detail, nothing to much trouble and put my mind at ease throughout

Scott and his team have done a great job twice now,our box gutter had been leaking for age's Scott fixed it first time, where two other companies tried and failed.Also had our sofits replaced another good job done.We will be using them again.

We had quotations from other builders, however, when we spoke to one recommended by our friend he looked at our requirements and recommended Classic Construction. We had quotations of up to £80,0000 and felt they were too high. Scott visited and quoted £2,500, we felt comfortable with Classic Construction and the quotation. The work was started on the date agreed, completed on time, they were efficient respectful of our property and polite. The problem was fixed on the first attempt, Scott has visited to quote us on another requirement and we look forward to engaging him again.

Scott and his team did a fantastic job, they were curtious and respectful. They are punctual and communicate very well about the job.

Hastings construction have recently done my loft conversion and a small bathroom remodel and I couldn’t be happier, will definitely be using them again. Would highly recommend.

Scott and Dan (and others as required) did a fantastic job with our extension. I took care over getting the right person/company, as the extension involved taking out the whole back wall and replacing with a (very large) beam that was put into the floor space above. Scott was definitely the person and we now have a great new space - Scott also laid the flooring, and made a patio base as well - and helped with other things that was not in his remit. He uses his brother's bricklaying company, and his brother's customer service is not aligned with Scott's (though no complaints over quality)

We were fortunate enough to find Scott working on a property nearby. Since then he has broadly rebuilt our property: Built an extension, workshop, clad the outside of the house, paved the garden, fitted bathrooms, flooring and renovated every room. Scott is a pleasure to work with - he always finds a solution, gives options to support budget constraints and is incredibly creative delivering innovative design solutions. As our house is broadly unrecognisable from 2 years ago we spend much of time recommending him for other jobs. He is our go to builder for all of our work.

I’d highly recommend Scott if you need any work doing, had him do my loft conversion and I couldn’t be happier. I’m over the moon with my new space, the work he has done is perfect. Always left at the end of the day with little to no mess so each day we could really see the progress! Will 100% be giving Scott a call next time I plan to have any work done.

Scott was simply great. This was our first experience of building work and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for better. Scott was just really down-to-Earth and easy going. He always answered the phone when we needed to call him and let us know if he was having any deliveries or had to go a collect materials. He worked solidly throughout the day but always had time to stop and talk about any aspect of the build we had queries about. We’ve already recommended him to several friends who have been equally pleased.

Scott was fantastic from day one. He carried out a large range of works across our property in a fast and professional manner. Everything was finished to a very high quality and we are very pleased with the end result. Scott was on site for about 5 months and it was a pleasure having him here. Very nice guy, easy to talk to and very accommodating. We lived in the property through the build and he went above and beyond to keep the basics available to us including fitting a make shift kitchen sink when we were between kitchens. We highly recommend him for any building work you may have planned.

We can not recommend Hastings Construction enough. We did a very large complex self-build which was filmed for Grand Designs. Scott was the lead on the entire project and we were so impressed by his vast skill set - essentially any category of task he would carry out well and extremely efficiently. His fast pace and his positive upbeat attitude made him a joy to work with. This was a high pressured project that required high level detailing. Scott handled himself and the work extremely well, from start to finish. We will continue to use Scott and his team going forward whenever needed.
