Clearway Maintenance Ltd

We used Clearway twice in the last few months, firstly for roof moss cleaning and most recently for replacement and realigning of guttering. Florin and his team were very thorough in their job appraisals and in their implementation. In particular, they recommended using deeper replacemnent guttering, rather than just realigning existing guttering, to ensure adequate capacity during heavy rainful. This seemed sensible on a larger roof and was not picked up by other quoting traders.

Florin and his team have carried out a number of small projects in our garden that have greatly improvement the appearance and longevity of our garden. Florin is responsive, straight forward and has good advice to give. His team were tidy and punctual and I would definitely recommend.

Clearway Maintenance repaired our roof damage and did an excellent job. They did it with the minimum of fuss and removed all the debris left by a previous company. The job was completed in a day and their work has been admired by neighbours. We would highly recommend them to anyone who requires work done to their premises.

I have used Clearway in 2018 and 2022 for major jobs on my property. Both were carried out and completed on time, within budget and with excellent communications as each stage was planned. In August 2023 I requested Clearway to take on four smaller tasks. 1.Damp proofing part of an external wall. 2. Removing a metal chimney stack from a summer house and sealing/lineing the aperture left in the roof 3. Repairing guttering damaged by a recent storm. 4. Replacing an external and defunct patio light under the eaves with a new LED light. Once again all work was completed in a timely manner, within budget and clear explanations about what was being done and why. As they left I was told to call immediately if any of work was not satisfactory or causing further problems. I can strongly recommend Clearway but be warned they are very busy and need time to arrange appointments. Potential customers should plan ahead.

Following a previous house repair, we contacted Florin at Clearway Maintenance to see if they were once again able to help with a repair, this time to our large shed roof. Following an email, Florin came and inspected the next day, quotation sent the following and works completed by the end of the week! Fantastic! Florin and workmen were efficient, thoughtful workers who did an excellent job for my learning disabled son and his house mate. Nothing too much trouble for them. Have already booked them for further work at my house. Highly recommended.

We have used Clearway for a number of years to carry out patio cleaning and gutter clearing. When we decided to take advantage of the Herts Solar Together scheme to have PV panels installed, they were our No.1 choice for prior roof cleaning and chemical treatment. We were advised there would be quite a small window between scaffolding erection, as part of the solar panel installation, and its removal, so advised Clearway of this. In the way we have become used to, they arrived at 08:30 on the appointed day and the work was carried out with their usual efficiency and conscientiousness. They returned promptly following the successful install and completed tidying up around the gutters. Communication with Clearway has always been prompt, helpful and very courteous. We recommend them very highly indeed.

Clearway came on the date they said they would and worked for one week on our facias, gutters and repairs to a flat roof. They finished on time, kept us informed throughout and were very pleasant to deal with. The standard of work was excellent.

Clearway contacted on recommendation of a local trading officer after my elderly in-laws had been subject to rogue traders causing substantial damage and mess to their property. Clearway gave helpful and concise advice backed up with a detailed Quote to rectify the damage. The work was then carried out in a prompt, professional and helpful way that impressed me and instilled a level of trust with my inlaws that would ensure and address, in future, how and who they should approach when getting this sort of work done. The work was also done within budget and on time. As somebody who has been involved in the Construction Industry for over 45 years it has been refreshing for me to come across a company that provided a service that was this efficient, professional and friendly.

We are so grateful to Clearway. They came promptly in bad weather when we had a very difficult flat roof problem with wanted dripping into our living room. The repair involved rerouting the drainage as well as replacing the roof. The team worked hard and efficiently to keep the roof watertight while the work was going on. The team were experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and they made sure that they did a good job. After they had finished we had snow followed by heavy rain and they phoned to check that everything was OK. It is a month since the job was completed there are no problems. Thank you, Clearway, for providing a personal and efficient service. From now on they are first roofing port of call.

A rainfall leak through an unseen hole in the roof under the solar panels resulted in the collapse of part of a bedroom ceiling. Clearway (found on Which? Trusted Traders) was contacted and very soon Florin (the boss) had a great team organised to rectify the problems. The project, involving his team of roofers, builders, electricians, plasterers and decorators, ran like clockwork, and resulted in an excellent job being done:- installing scaffolding, removing solar panels, fixing the roof, replacing solar panels, removing and rebuilding the damaged ceiling, sorting the electricals, replastering and repainting the room. They were also helpful with moving furniture, removing the debris, and keeping all the areas clean during their work. Florin is a very pleasant and helpful chap and he was involved throughout, checking not only the work being carried out but also ensuring that I was happy with progress. He also responded willingly to requests for additional work during the project - arranging the installation of a pull-down loft ladder and loft lighting, and has offered to return regularly to inspect the roof to nip any future problems in the bud. In summary - a project done professionally, to a high standard by a skilled and considerate leader and workforce, and all at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

Clearway Maintenance have been keeping the gutterings and downpipes clear for me on six industrial units for four years now. They have carried out repairs where necessary and given friendly, helpful advice relating to the long term maintenance of concrete gutters. Florin and his team can always be relied on to complete the work efficiently, politely and on schedule causing minimum disruption to the working of the site. If there is a reason they can not attend, Florin will always notify me with plenty of notice and reschedule immediately. Highly Recommended!

Florin and his team are very helpful, friendly and reliable. This time they fixed the flashing on the roof as it was leaking. Also used them previously to clear guttering, put tiles back after a storm and back in the summer they cleaned and treated the moss on the roof. You are always given a price before work starts.
