Highlights

"CSEM/ Craig recently installed some electric radiators for us and fixed a broken towel rail. Craig was great - really good communication beforehand, very efficient and professional on the day. He explained pricing really clearly and gave me options so I could decide what approach I wanted to take. In the end he charged me less than the initial quote as the towel rail was a quicker fix than anticipated. Thanks very much Craig!"

"I recently had this electrician install a Radialight heater in my bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. He was punctual, professional, and carried out the installation with great attention to detail. All the wiring was neatly done, and he made sure everything was safe and working perfectly before he left. He also took the time to explain how to use the heater properly, which I really appreciated. My bathroom is now lovely and warm — excellent work and highly recommended!"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
