He is very knowledgable and I felt reassured from the start that he wouldn't rest until he'd found the cause of our drainage issue, where water was backing up into the sink, especially when the previous company we called to investigate had given up without determining the cause. Desi carried out a thorough investigation with CCTV, plumbers dye and thermal imaging. He kept me informed throughout, showed me the images on screen and was clear on the plan to resolve this. He was also such a lovely person to deal with."

Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
