No hesitation in recommending Dean and Scott. First class work, good advice, honest advice ( I have quite a bit of knowledge in the building trade but now no head for heights or jumping about on scaffolding to do the work myself). Remember that Dean will be giving you in all likely hood options which you must choose with the size of your cash pot ultimately being the biggest decider. Fingers crossed just a few maintenances tile replacements.

Dean responded quickly to my initial email enquiry, gave a quote straight away, and agreed to do the work the following day. He told me that the job (mending some guttering and a bargeboard) would take about 15 minutes and he would only charge his normal callout fee. Dean arrived bang on time the next day, did an excellent repair job in the time quoted and for the agreed, very reasonable, fee. He was polite, communicated clearly, and cleared up afterwards, leaving no mess. I would most certainly use Dean again, and highly recommend him. (What a contrast to my previous enquiry to Check-a-Trade for the same job, which resulted in only one response, which was a quote at double Dean's price!)

It's always a bit daunting to have some work done but Dean and his team did a fantastic work. They kept us informed throughout the job, reassured us when needed and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Dean and team to do our roof. After getting multiple quotes they were the only ones to come back with what we thought was required in removing a DIY roof to a side extension and starting from scratch. After discovering a number of businesses hiding behind local telephone numbers who weren’t local at all it was important to find somebody that could be verified as local I had to trust somebody. As I had no local knowledge or contacts Dean Penfold came with accredited Master Builder qualification Which made a great difference. How pleased we were to have made this choice Dean and his teams were totally correct and professional more over with a flexibility to cope with a evolving problematic job. He explained the pros and cons with clarity and knowledge along with a sensible cost evolution. We felt all the time we were in safe hands my aged parents were calm and collected under the stress We couldn’t have wished for an easier path for completion. Fixed a balcony roof that was leaking into the front room at the first attempt , where as another company had tried 3 times to fix it , top job

Dean and the team did a great job changing our patio at the side of our house to a driveway for our EV. Dean and Scott met with us to discuss the planning permit restrictions and then, in our absence, the work was completed on time and without issue - we even had regular photo updates! Our drive has received lots of compliments from our neighbours, we would certainly recommend Dean and would ask him back again for any further works.

My partner and I had been let down by numerous companies before finding Dean and his team. From the moment he stepped through the door, Dean was friendly, helpful and refreshingly honest. Unlike many others, Dean promised to send a quote and actually did so the very same day. What a pleasure to have contact with and meet Dean, Whitney was initial point of contact and kept prompt replies and booked appointment for Dean to view! Which he did in selected time and date, which was excellent straight away, he viewed the problem, up and down ladders, lifted tiles and inspected the chimney as a whole! He then advised me as to the solution materials etc as he felt I was more than capable of effecting the repair as he saw it, could have charged me hundreds of pounds but he’s straight and genuine!
