Dan Conway

Had a very negative experience with Dan Conway who looked at my boiler with a view to fixing an intermittent hot to cold water issue. The heating worked fine. After 45 mins, I felt he didn't know what he was doing - at £90 an hour I decided to cut my losses so i asked him to leave it before it cost me even more. As he left, Dan said there was no charge which I thought was odd but fair as he didn't seem to do anything so no money actually changed hands. When I checked the boiler I was horrified to discover quite a bad water leak from underneath it going all over the wooden floor below, the pressure valve gushed water all over the floor when I tried to top it up and the heating now doesn't work at all when it did before he started on it. Due to my experience I would not recommend.

Undertook a very challenging awkward job with enthusiasm and dedication to find a solution. Excellent worker, and very reasonable price. Faultless. Highly recommend- he is my go to plumber from now on.

Dan replaced my kitchen mixer tap and washing machine isolating tap. Very satisfied with work. Highly recommended.

Great impression as soon as he walked in the door. He was right on time which is always a great sign these days. The job of changing a bath mixer tap sounds easy and straightforward but this was anything but. Access was extremely restricted making the job very difficult. He also made short work of an airlock. Cleaned up afterwards too. I will definitely use him again.
