Darren was brilliant. We had previously been in contact with another builder, but they couldn't do what we needed and there were delays in their process. So we contacted Darren who came to see us very quickly. Darren was so helpful, and willing to discuss our needs and budget. He took time to help us with the process, and arranging structural drawings, council building inspectors, etc. Darren and his team were punctual and reliable, respectful of us and our property. He kept us informed of what he was doing and where he was up to, and got the job done in a timely manner. We have been wanting to do this loft conversion for so long, and we are so pleased with it. The standard of work is amazing. In addition to this, Darren is a really nice guy. Thank you so much Darren Dee, Karen and Sammy
Darren replied to my initial email promptly and arrived to discuss the work involved at the time agreed. He was polite and helpful, suggesting some alternatives which actually saved me money. He and his team arrived on time each day and worked through with minimal breaks to get the job done. Everything was left tidy at the end of a working day and the whole site cleared and brushed up at the end of the job. The standard of work is excellent and I have asked Darren to do some more work for me at the end of the year.
Work completed quickly and without fuss, left the site clean and tidy. Very happy with the work and will use Darren again.
Work was carried out to a very good standard , invoice was less than quote.
Very competent and friendly at all times. Explained the work required and how it was progressing at every stage. Had to work round the weather but again explained the necessity of doing the work to a high standard to ensure it was done to a high standard. Would recommend Mr Finney for an excellent service. Cleaned up on completion and even shined the windows !

Darren and his team were recommended by my plumber, and I was delighted to have them on board. Darren completed a full plastering/renovation job for a four-bedroom bungalow, configured walls by demolshing and building a rear mid-sized extention, all completed within the time framework. He really is hand on so your job is done without a delay. I've added a lot of work that was not originally agreed and this was actioned and completed with no fuss, such as , investigation of leaking windows and installing cavity tray, internal laminating floor and even removed to rubbished into his skip while I was off ill. I highly recommend their service and will not hesitate to use again. Don't forget to give him a white coffee with two sugars - sets him well for the day! Thank you Darren and Andy and all the rest of the team that worked on my house.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Dareen on a large decking project. He was very professional and took the time to understand my needs and budget. Dareen went above and beyond to find the best materials at a competitive price, saving me a significant amount of money. Dareen and his team completed the project quickly and efficiently, all within half a day. The quality of their work was outstanding, and they were very attentive to detail. I was particularly impressed with how hands-on Dareen was with his colleagues, ensuring that the job was done to the highest standard. I highly recommend Dareen's services to anyone looking for a reliable and professional decking contractor.

Darren & his team of trades built us a utility room in the garage. They turned up every day on time and did a wonderful job for a good price. Nothing was too much trouble for them and would have no hesitation in using them again.
Darren Finney was a brilliant project manager. Everything ran smoothly as he organised an electrician and plumber as needed. There was no time wasting. Through experience he could forsee any problems and worked out how to solve them - so they didn't become obstacles. There are three men in the team with different skill sets, builder, roofer and plasterer, their skill sets worked collectively. As promised, Darren and his colleagues kept to original time frame and completed the job within the proposed time frame. Passers by have commented positively on the quality of the brickwork and noted that the extension looks like it has always been part of the building. It was so encouraging to see daily progress. They were all very amenable and extremely hard workers. We highly recommend them.
