About

We are a Shropshire based, chartered architects practice specialising in projects ranging from residential through to commercial, leisure & industrial. Since the practice was founded in January 1999 by architect Otto de Weijer (trained at The Institute of Advanced Technology, Delft), Dutch Architecture Ltd has maintained a strong European philosophy when approaching architecture work through out the UK. We believe in the personal approach. We concentrate on the needs and aspirations of each individual client no matter how large or small the project. This way we ensure that the client can work with us to make the project their own. Our aim is to deliver the best possible ideas, design and solutions that go beyond our clients expectations while creating a solution that matches their needs.

Smart checks

Before you hire an architect

Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
Get a written, itemised quote with scope, assumptions and a staged payment schedule.
Compare at least three architects on the depth of their evidence, not just price.
