EcoTrust were brilliant from start to finish. We had spray foam in the loft and our mortgage lender wouldn’t proceed. They came out the next day, explained everything clearly and removed all the foam professionally. The loft was left spotless and we received our surveyor report straight away. Highly recommended.
We were in the middle of selling our house when the buyer’s mortgage was declined due to spray foam insulation in the loft. We were under serious time pressure and needed a company who actually understood surveyor and lender requirements, not just someone to rip it out. From the first call, the team were knowledgeable, honest, and reassuring. They acted quickly, explained the process clearly, and scheduled the works without delay. We had ongoing damp issues throughout the downstairs of our home, affecting the hallway, living room and dining room. After investigation, it became clear the problem was a combination of external defects and internal rising and penetrating damp. Ben and Lee were excellent from start to finish. They carried out repointing works externally to resolve the source of water ingress, then completed a full damp proof course and installed a damp proof membrane internally. Everything was explained clearly from the outset, including what needed doing and why, as it was a fairly large job.
