Highlights

"We recently purchased an early 1980s house and had EES Yorkshire add some much needed sockets and lighting, move others and strip out a whole host of old, defunct wiring (phone / alarm etc). They promptly completed the job in 2 days and we are very happy with the results. Considering they were working throughout the whole house, they were clean, tidy and respectful of our belongings and happy to answer questions we had along the way. They were super flexible too, replacing some outdoor lights at short notice. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back in future and would highly recommend them."

"Chris and his team did an excellent job re-wiring my 1950’s 3 bed bungalow as part of an extensive upgrade of the property. Prior to starting Chris and I discussed my specific requirements and how they could be achieved and I was impressed at his pro-active responses and suggestions. The works were completed over 2 days to a high standard and at a very competitive price. In conclusion I would say that EES Yorkshire, headed by Chris, are a very professional Company that I would highly recommend."

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
