"Element did a level 3 survey in under two weeks of our quote. Ben gave clear advice on the type of survey and services we should get for the property. His quote was reasonable and easy to understand. Ben's report was comprehensive and readable. He responded to our Qs over email and was available before and after to answer questions. In particular, it's worth noting that Element offer services for which some national surveyors slap on a surcharge. Our report had useful drone photos of the roof as standard (I've seen +£200 quoted elsewhere), and some charge £200 for post-survey consultations."

We would definitely recommend this service, much easier than dealing with a large company and no hidden costs or corners cut. Really impressed."

Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
