Highlights

"Tom is a legend! We have been using him for years for pretty much everything electrician in the house. He does a great job at a reasonable price. Literally wouldn't use anyone else. Highly recommend."

AnonymousCheckatrade5.0 rating

"Tom came highly recommended by a friend, and he did an excellent job. He rewired my entire kitchen, drilled a hole for an extractor fan and a waste water pipe, and installed a new lighting system. He even sourced the lights himself, perfectly matching my vision, making my kitchen feel more spacious. Tom was polite, punctual, and clearly an expert in his trade. He also gave great advice on small details like tiling and flooring options, which make a big difference. His pricing was very reasonable for the excellent quality of work delivered. Highly recommend!"

"Tom let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. He quickly had a look over the job and asked more detail on what I was after. He then got on with the job at hand, giving me warning of turning off the power to the house. He done a brilliant job and made sure everything was working before heading off. Toms a really nice bloke that I'll definitely be using again."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
