Highlights

"I rang this business expecting to wait for a couple of days before getting an appointment. Not so was informed that someone would be there as soon as possible which turned out to be the case. The fault was explained to us very clearly and rectified with a new part immediately. We have also asked them to replace a noisy bathroom extractor fan sometime. We highly recommend their workmanship extremely friendly and helpful!!"

"We didn't have any electricity making its way into our conservatory at all and there was no obvious reason for this, having checked the fuse box and the fuses in the isolator switch. Aaron came at the agreed time and was able to quickly investigate, identify and fix the issue within the same visit. Aaron was a pleasant and knowledgable tradesman and I'll be keeping his details should I need to use him again."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
