The engineers were very helpful and clear about what had to be done to rectify and urgent and difficult situation. It was good value for money. I have already agreed another contract on the basis of this contract I will certainly use these trades men again.

Facelift were excellent, not only did they do a great job but treated my 80-something parents fantastically, ensuring they were as unsettled as possible.They updated me frequently with what was happening and also helped sort out a problem with my parents energy supplier. They are a credit to the company and the industry, I would happily recommend them!
I had a lot of work carried out in my house. They listened to my concerns and took them into consideration when carrying out the work. The advice I was given was excellent which I took on and I am very pleased with. Every stage of the work was explained to me and afterwards they ensured I was happy with that work. Overall I am very pleased with the work and how the work was carried out.

I've always been skeptical of customer reviews because I've never known any good tradesmen! But having read the reviews on this site, decided to go with Facelift Electrical. I can honestly say that my experience with them has restored my faith! I would highly recommend the company to anyone (including my friends and family), and am already contracting them to do more work at my house.

Before you hire an electrician
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
