Highlights

"Frank attended our property due to low water pressure. He removed the old stopcock and replaced it with a new one, fitted a new kitchen tap, installed a garden tap, and replaced our electric shower. By the time Frank finished, the water pressure was better than ever and everything was working perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with the service—professional, efficient, and tidy throughout."

"I had decided to change my 12 year old boiler and had someone booked in for the job but they couldn’t start until March. Lost all heat and needed something done urgently. Enter Frank of FFT plumbing & heating. He turned up to see if power flush might return heat but agreed we should change boiler. His quote was better than the one we had and he could start straight away. I was a bit concerned at first, why cheaper? Why available? I shouldn’t have worried. Frank was always on time, friendly, and most of all efficient. He did a great job on the new boiler and cleaned away all rubbish."

"I had an emergency leak from the main into my. Property that my plumber could not resolve. This guy took the job on with a can do attitude and resolved a tricky issue. His communication throughout was excellent. Would highly recommend, great work ethic."

Smart checks

Before you hire a gas engineer

By law, anyone working on your gas appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register — ask to see their Gas Safe ID card and check the licence number at gassaferegister.co.uk before they start.
Never let an unregistered person touch your gas: unsafe gas work risks carbon monoxide poisoning, fire and explosion, and is a criminal offence.
For a boiler or appliance install, get the work and price in writing and keep the Gas Safe / Building Regulations certificate they are required to give you.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
